Welcome to my little movie blog about the good and bad of bad movies.  I love great movies, of course, but I’m one of those movie fans who enjoys a good B-flick even though it’s hard to sift through the crap to find the good ones.  You can think of this blog as a journey into finding those great, entertaining and yes, low budget, flicks among a sea (ocean?) of films that I can’t believe got funding.

The scoring system is based on what you would normally look for in these types of films.  Neither category (story, blood/gore content, nudity) is dependent on the other which is why I give an overall score that isn’t an average of the categories simply because the types of films I cover don’t necessarily need all high scores to be entertaining.  Some of the cheesier flicks may have a terrible story but contain lots of gore and maybe even a bit of nudity and maybe that’s all the film meant to deliver and if it’s fun then that is all that matters!  The scores are rated from 1-10 (1 being truly awful, 5 being average and 10 meaning it must be pretty good!) though I will give the occasional 0 to the movies that really bum me out.  It doesn’t happen often but when it does, you should probably avoid that flick like the plague.
